Microchip Registration Database Service

Every Pet Should be Registered

Our aims are to reduce the number of lost and stray dogs, cats, and other animals by recording microchip numbers and owner's details on our national database. If your pet is ever lost or stolen, Pet Data gives you the best chance of finding them. We have an expert team on hand 24/7 at our UAE pet recovery helpline who are here to help in the reunification of pet owners with lost or stolen pets, that have been registered. We are pet parents too and understand how important it is.

Pet Microchip Database

Help them always find their way home

The Pet Data microchip database is fully compliant with current legislation relating to registration and record keeping for companion animals.

Pet Data operates a 24 hour telephone number for lost and found pets which is manned 365 days a year. The microchip database is easily accessible 24/7 by everyone.

Should your pet go missing, alerts are sent out to our Lost and Found network and you can download posters

A microchip is mandatory by the Municipality and always recommended by the vets as an effective way of permanently linking pets to their owners, increasing the chances of them being reunited if the animal is lost, stolen, or strays.

Thousands of pets are lost every year and many are never reunited with their owners. We believe that microchipping is the most effective way of identifying a lost pet, chips don't come off like collars. Microchips are designed to last for the life of your pet. They do not need to be charged or replaced, only registered in the database under the official owner's name.

How does microchipping work?

Once an animal has been microchipped it has its own unique number. The owner's details and the code are stored securely in the microchip database.

Is microchipping easy to do?
Yes, it's as simple as an injection. A tiny microchip the size of a grain of rice is painlessly inserted under the animal's skin. Once in, the microchip is not visible, but can be read by the scanner.
